I'm a philosopher interested in many topics about ethics. Much of my work focuses the ethics of AI use in education. I also like to think about questions (in layman's terms) along the lines of "Does anything really matter if the world is just a bunch of atoms bouncing around in the void?" In philosopher's terms, this line of research focuses on metaethics and the philosophy of science, particularly metaethical naturalism.
I'm currently a lecturer at UNC-Wilmington. Before that, I received my PhD from Stanford, an M.A. in philosophy from Western Michigan University and a B.A. in mathematics from Carleton College. I also edit the AI and Teaching Series for the Blog of the APA. If you'd like to submit a proposal for a piece, please e-mail me at [email protected] |
